Speechpad’s Approach to Transcription Challenges

Poor Quality Audio
Our pricing assumes that the audio is clear and understandable without too much background noise or crosstalk. If this isn’t the case, we’ll always do our best to get it done for you in the timeframe you requested. We may need additional time to complete the job, and will reach out to you promptly if this is the case.
If the audio is severely difficult to understand, we can likely handle that with an additional charge to cover the extra overhead to complete your job. Of course in either situation, you’ll have the option of canceling the order for a full refund.
Foreign Languages
We offer several foreign language services including:
- Foreign language transcription
- Foreign language captions
- Audio translation
While we can work with a variety of languages, the most commonly requested are Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Italian, Dutch, and Hindi. We hire expert transcribers who are native speakers in the language they transcribe. Before being delivered to you, the transcripts and captions are edited for quality assurance by specially qualified reviewers who are native speakers in the language of the document under review.
Multiple Speakers
Our advertised price includes up to 4 speakers. If there are more, we can accommodate for a small fee per additional speaker.
Really, Really Long Files
We can handle that! Just be sure to contact us ahead of time if you need 48 hour delivery on files longer than 3 hours or 12 or 24 hour delivery on files longer than 30 minutes.
Lots, and Lots, and Lots of Files
We’ll gladly work on all of your files, no matter how many! While our pricing is the best in the industry, we also provide custom programs for high volume users and enterprise engagements.
Confidential Files
We’ll handle your confidential files with the utmost respect and security. You can trust us with your private data. In order to comply with security requirements of our major customers in the insurance and legal sectors, Speechpad has developed a comprehensive set of policies and procedures governing the protection of private customer data. Nondisclosure Agreements
We respect private and sensitive information. If our standard privacy policy is not sufficient, we will happily consider entering into an appropriate Nondisclosure Agreement. Many of our enterprise customers require NDAs. Simply contact us to get started.
